Fendalls Ice Cream Franchise

Frozen desserts

Fendall's Ice Cream was founded by Edmund Fendall in 1910 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He operated the business until 1916 when he was joined by master pastry chef Joseph Rimensberger, who, upon the untimely death in 1919 of Edmund Fendall, took over the business which has remained in the family ever since. Joe Rimensberger's son Carl continued the traditions of quality and good service until 1990, when his daughter Carol and son-in-law, Gunter, purchased the business. Fendall's continues to produce and supply the Wasatch Front with quality and service found only in the old traditions of the early 20th Century using the Old World recipes and flavors. Custom made frozen desserts are our specialty. We welcome signature items and flavors of any kind for our wholesale customers and enjoy making ice cream flavors as well as ices, sorbets, punch, and frappes for the general public at wholesale prices.
