Throughout the summer of 2005 Topper’s stores will attempt to cash in on the huge catering market by promoting the new “Topper’s Caters Parties” menu. This new menu is designed to compete with other restaurants that cater large group events and parties. The menu features per person pricing so the customer can see how feeding people pizza and or sandwiches is an economical alternative to other catering options. “When someone is ordering for a large group of people they are looking to have someone else worry about the little details” said Scott Iversen Director of Advertising. “When planning food for a party the biggest concern for the host is not to be embarrassed. The host of the party is usually most concerned with getting a good variety of hot food that is made correctly and delivered on time. Being delivery experts, we are perfectly equipped to take on this kind of business because it is what we already do everyday.” To make ordering easy, each store will have an in-store Production / Recommendation and Pricing Guide that will help employees walk customers through the ordering process. Employees will make recommendations on what our most popular menu items are in their area and the will give the customer a suggested quantity of food along with the best variety to please a group of people with varying tastes. Topper’s stores will also assist with set up, serving and clean up upon request. The NEW Catering & Parties menu also introduces the NEW Grinder Party Platter. This new platter consists of a total of 20 3 inch sized Grinder sandwiches. The platter comes with a bag of chips for each person. The NEW Grinder Party Platter is great for office meetings, tailgate parties and more!
