On Saturday, July 8th at 3 p.m. glacial gladiators will face off to see who can eat the most Italian ice in 10 minutes as part of the 10th Anniversary Family Fun Day celebration of the Rita's Ices, Cones, Shakes and Other Cool Stuff at 2116 West Henderson Road in Columbus. Competitors will vie for a championship trophy, $200 cash prize and two tickets to Cedar Point Amusement Park. This unique athletic endeavor is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. In addition to the ice eating competition, the 10th Anniversary Family Fun Day, which runs from 1-4 p.m., will also include a variety of games, prizes, balloons and tattoos for the kids and a special appearance by Larry the Juggler from 1:30p to 3:30 p.m. Join us and enjoy a cool treat!
