Franchising for RE/MAX in Hungary will begin soon as the region has been purchased by Bal zs Posta and Bence Kesthely who will serve as co-region owners and regional directors. Posta has worked numerous years in the real estate industry as a developer or in the mortgage business and holds TEGOVA, the European real Estate certification and F TI Omega, the Realtor and surveyor certification. His most recent position was as director of real estate developments for one of the more exclusive real estate developments in Budapest. He attended Pestszentl rinczi Business College and later majored in finance at Szent Istv n University Business and Entrepreurial Academy. Kesthely, who is fluent in Fluent in English, German, and Hungarian, has worked both in commercial real estate and in the commercial printing industry. He also holds F TI Omega and a bachelor of arts in international management from Pepperdine University and an H.S. Diploma from American International School of Budapest. He is also an international competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (blue belt class) and was a bronze medalist at the European Championships in 2006 and a gold medalist of the Hungarian Open in 2005. "The quality of services provided by the majority of real estate agencies and agents in Hungary is below average," commented Kesthely. "That is why Bal zs and I bought the master franchise for Hungary. Our primary objective is introducing the quality and professionalism that RE/MAX has to offer to this region." Hungary, which is located in central Europe, northwest of Romania, held its first multi-party elections in 1990 and initiated a free market economy, joined NATO in 1999 and the EU in 2004.
