OpenWorks, a leader in developing turnkey facility service and maintenance franchises, announced that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix has recently awarded the Company a contract to provide facility services to eight branches in metropolitan Phoenix. To complement this new business agreement and support the efforts of the Clubs, OpenWorks has implemented a company-sponsored employee volunteer program to help local children develop and grow in fun, safe environments. The Company will provide up to 4 paid hours a month per employee so they may volunteer their time. "We value the work the Boys & Girls Clubs of Phoenix does to provide a safe, productive environment in which kids can thrive, and our approach to facility services certainly complements these goals," said OpenWorks President and CEO Eric Roudi. "And what better way to promote our service commitment than to establish a volunteer program so OpenWorks employees can help make a difference?" Servicing eight Phoenix locations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix adds more than 140,000 square feet of space to OpenWorks' book of business. OpenWorks has grown to become a major facility services organization with more than 350 franchisees servicing more than 20 million square feet of commercial space at 1,500 facilities in Arizona, Seattle, and Southern California.
