Oogles n Googles , the zaniest and fastest-growing kids' party company, will be entertaining kids and families during The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library's (IMCPL) 18th Annual November Read-Aloud Program. Serving Central Indiana, this year's theme is "Join Garfield's Crowd! Read Aloud!" The goal of the program is to encourage families to spend at least four hours reading together to generate a feeling of closeness and to develop a love for reading among young children. In November, families can register at any library branch to receive a free kit of program materials, including Garfield gear, a reading log, and "Garfield and Friends" stickers to track a family's read-aloud time. In 2002, as many as 19,244 children and parents participated in the November Read-Aloud Program and that many and more are expected to be part of the program this year. As part of the month-long activities, families may celebrate 25 years of "Cat Tales" with Garfield presented by Oogles n Googles . Twenty-five library branches will be presenting an Oogles n Googles "Cat Tales" event.
