Butler Township, Ohio - 1 January, 2006 -
Noodles Development LP, the developer of the fast-casual restaurant franchise "Nothing but Noodles," announces the opening of their second Dayton, Ohio area restaurant. Prior to the grand opening, the restaurant will be hosting an invitation only event with all proceeds being donated to the Piqua Area United Way. The United Way is a national charitable organization that has more than 1,300 community-based groups that raise funds for community services and those less fortunate. As an active board member of the Piqua Area United Way, Nothing but Noodles franchise owner Pat Smith suggested the fundraiser as a positive way to kick off the New Year for both organizations. "We can't think of a better way to celebrate the opening of our new location than to use our proceeds to support the United Way and the work they do in our community. We look forward to a successful year with our second Dayton area location, and continuing our support of the United Way," said Smith. "Our organization is very thankful to Pat Smith for his involvement in our organization and the financial support that we anticipate through the Nothing but Noodles event," said Lisa Whitaker, executive director of the Piqua Area United Way. "Pat's experience and close involvement with the United Way gives him first hand experience and insight to the many lives the United Way touches. I have no doubt that the money raised will directly impact our community." The restaurant anticipates opening for business on January 18, 2006 and will be located at 6743 Miller Lane in Butler Township, OH.
