Mr. Jim's Executive Director, Randy Wooley, today announced the first ever exclusive multi-unit development agreement with Houston, Tx. based franchisee BMK L.P. Mr. Jim's Pizza is an Addison, Tx based pizza delivery and take-out restaurant chain founded in 1975 by Mr. Jim (Johnson) in Westland, Mi. He has since nurtured it to now having over 70 locations mostly in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. His business model is to open each restaurant at a much lower cost than the national chains and then pass those savings along to the customer with a better value for their families. Mr. Wooley stated, "Expanding into the Houston market is integral to our national expansion program. We have been searching for years for the right development team and are very confident in the management of BMK L.P. They have the strong commitment to ensuring each customer's total dining experience causes him to demand more as stated in Mr. Jim's original statement of our valuable final product, ‘A pizza made just like Mr. Jim makes served or delivered in a manner that causes the customer to demand more.' Most of the big pizza chains don't even think in terms of the customer's total dining experience. Our goal is to be our neighborhood's favorite pizza place we are looking forward to moving into the neighborhoods in and around Houston." BMK L.P. principles are local Houston businessmen managing partner Michael Reese, Brent Geistweidt and attorney Keith Odenweller. Mr. Geistweidt is the owner of the famous White Ghost Ranch hunting reserve. The agreement is structured so that BMK can move as they see fit over the next 10 years. Further terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.
