Winners of the 3rd Annual 2005 American Business Awards shared the spotlight with Donald J. Trump, who was presented the first Lifetime Achievement Stevie Award. Ali Velshi, host of The TurnAround on CNN, hosted the gala ceremony at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel. Jani-King International was honored as a Finalist in the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program and Best Support Organization categories during the evening’s ceremony. “We are proud to have been recognized alongside companies such as Sprint, Verizon and Oracle,” said Robert Kindred, Director of Public Relations for Jani-King International. “Our Workplace Awareness Program has received positive reviews since the beginning and being honored as a finalist proves that this is a worthy program.” The Workplace Awareness Program was developed in response to the 9/11 attacks as a way to aid in the safety of Jani-King franchisees, employees, clients, and their customers.
