Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today the opening of the 131-room Hilton Garden Inn(R) West Des Moines in West Des Moines, Iowa, representing another addition to the brand's growing collection of more than 262 Hilton Garden Inn hotels across North America. Fred L. Thurman owns the newly constructed Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines, and Great Plains Lodging VI, L.L.C. operates the hotel under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., the franchise subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation. Northern Plains Management manages the hotel.
