Apa Lends Support To New Film Starring Jennifer Barretta

Lake St. Louis, Mo - 30 November, 2005 -

The APA is excited to announce its partnership and support of Main Street Production’s new pool film 9-Ball. The film will star real-life billiard super star Jennifer Barretta in the role of Gail an aspiring young amateur player looking to make a name for herself on the women’s pro tour. “We’re very excited to be working with Main Street Productions in support of this film. After reading the screen play, we knew this was a movie that would be a hit with our members as well as the pool playing public in general,” said APA Public Relations Manager Jason Bowman. “I’m looking forward to working with the APA in our new movie. The APA is a great organization for everyone who is interested in playing pool for fun, and for those that hope to one day play professionally. ‘9-Ball’ is a movie about a young woman who wants to become the Women’s 9-Ball Champion, and in order for her to achieve that dream she had to start by playing in the APA. We love pool, and support what the APA provides to poolplayers everywhere,” said Anthony Palma, Producer, Writer and Director of 9-Ball.
