Here's what we're looking for: * A typical Area Development Agreement requires the build out of 15-20 restaurants in 5-7 years. In certain markets, smaller territories and the criteria for such, will be considered on a case by case basis. * SIGNIFICANT Business Experience -- successful ownership, minimum of 5 years multi-unit restaurant experience in a leadership role * LIVE in the market to be developed -- be committed to personally devoting full-time, best efforts to day-to-day operations * An ENTREPRENEURIAL Spirit -- strong desire to succeed in the restaurant business * RESOURCES AND INFRASTRUCTURE to meet aggressive development schedule -- ability to develop and execute a business plan * REAL ESTATE experience in the market to be developed * PASSIONATE about Noodles & Company: Our food, our staff and our culture -- driven to provide an exceptional dining experience to our guests * SHARED VALUES -- an insatiable learner who's enthusiastic, humble, friendly and driven; willing to become proficient in all asects of running a Noodles & Company restaurant * Ability to meet the FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS -- net worth of $5,000,000; liquid cash or available assets $2,000,000 The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Noodles & Company restaurant ranges from $684,000 to $870,000. This includes a $35,000 franchise fee that must be paid to the franchisor, but does not include the ongoing cost of buying or renting the business location. The franchisor also requires a non-refundable development fee of $35,000 for the first Noodles & Company restaurant contemplated to be opened by you and $10,000 for each additional Noodles & Company restaurant you have agreed to open under an Area Development Agreement.
