During the term of the Driven Landscapes franchise agreement, and at the discretion of the franchisor, franchisees must attend and successfully complete the initial training program and must devote full time and best efforts to the management and operation of the franchised business. Driven Landscapes is not an absentee or passive business model. The franchised business must also have constant supervision by the franchisee or by a designated and approved manager who has satisfactorily completed the initial training program. If more than one territory is owned by a franchisees, appointing an operating manager or similar individual to supervise crews and work is allowed and an operating manager is not required to have equity in the business. However, the manager will need to successfully complete the Driven Landscapes training program. Franchisees must also maintain competent, conscientious and trained staff, including a fully trained manager. There are no limitations posed by Driven Landscapes when it comes to hiring managers, but franchisees must comply with all applicable laws and must not harm the goodwill associated with Driven Landscapes with employee selections. In addition, Driven Landscapes reserves the right to approve the manager after training. The Driven Landscapes franchise must be operated in strict conformity with all applicable Federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations. These laws, ordinances and regulations vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and may be implemented or interpreted in a different manner over time. Franchisees must learn of the existence and requirements of all laws, ordinances and regulations applicable to the Driven Landscapes and must adhere to them and to the then-current implementation or interpretation of them.

Available to qualified individuals considering a change of lifestyle and leaving the office to become business owners; young professionals or recent college graduates; and existing business owners looking to add-on to their at-home concepts. Prior business experience is not required, but knowledge and understanding of the landscaping industry is preferred.
