| Training | Using a combination of classroom and on-the-job instruction, you'll be trained in all aspects of the Waffy's franchise: business operations, administrative procedures, customer service, food preparation techniques, sales, and more. As you prepare to open your store, an experienced trainer will be on hand to help you get off to a good start. | You and/or your unit manager will attend our comprehensive, one to two week training program at one of our corporate restaurants. You will learn our operational procedures, merchandising techniques, payroll management, inventory control and other skills in a real working environment to make your business as successful as possible. |
| Support | Operations Manual. Every aspect of the Waffy's franchise is laid out for you in this comprehensive guidebook. In addition to serving as a valuable reference tool, you'll use this manual to help train your managers. Site Selection. You'll receive guidelines for choosing an appropriate location for your Waffy's franchise. Comprehensive Web-based support system. Waffy's offers a high level of support services through its password protected franchise Web portal system which provides: Online training videos and "how-to" tutorials Online ordering from suppliers Management tools (forms, break-even analysis spreadsheets) Calendar for critical dates reminder Communication board (with Waffy's team & among franchisees) Ongoing Service and Support. As a valued member of our franchise family, you will receive continuing support and guidance. We're available by phone or email to address any questions or concerns and a Waffy's field representative will periodically visit your store. | We will help you develop a local marketing plan and we will provide you with ongoing marketing and advertising support including in-store signage materials, flyers, coupons, ad slicks, and more. Ongoing support - Your field representative will visit your periodically and he or she will also always be available by phone to answer any questions. Operations manuals - You will receive a complete set of operations manuals to assist you in the daily running of your store. Also, newsletters and personal contact will keep you current on new products, operational improvements and new information regarding supplies, equipment, federal and state regulations and promotional ideas. |
