| Training | We conduct an intensive, one-week training session at our Akron, Ohio headquarters or at our Irvine, California franchise location, depending on where you live. You will gain both "back office" and in-store experience covering all aspects of operating a Stricklands Ice Cream franchise. In addition, we provide 3-5 days of onsite supportand training at your location during your grand opening week. We also provide our Franchisees a comprehensive Franchise Operations & Policies Manual, which provides detailed information concerning the development, opening and ongoing operation of your Stricklands Ice Cream franchise. | |

Along with offering the signature snack of island surfers --shaved ice flavored with a variety of syrups -- Shaka is an eco-friendly business, serving signature flavors such as SHAKA ROCK, SURF WAX, KONA COFFEE and combos like the WAIKIKI WANNABE with totally biodegradable cups, spoons and straws.(MADE FROM CORN) And, unlike ice cream trucks of old, the business is also gas-free: The ice is served out of both a push cart and an electric golf cart that can be found at the beachfront daily through out the summer.
