Successful candidates will undergo an extensive training program at several store locations and incorporates management, marketing and operations. Ongoing operational and marketing support is provided to all franchisees. In addition, specialized Food Cost Analysis reports are prepared free of charge as part of our ongoing and unique franchise support - something no other franchise can boast. Communication is emphasized; our staff are accessible and responsive. Annual franchisee meetings are held to provide additional training and exchange of ideas. Interaction and communication between franchisees is encouraged. Your ownership group and senior management staff will train for three weeks at our Shroom University training facility in Douglasville, Georgia prior to opening. When your store opens our training staff will assist you for a week prior to opening, and for two weeks after the opening. Shroom University offers a comprehensive program designed to teach you about the Front of House, Back of House, and Administrative aspects of running a Mellow Mushroom. You and your managers will learn how to make food, place orders, hire and retain personnel & maintain your POS system and mine the data it collects. A special emphasis is given to teaching you proven methods of supervising your store to decrease food and labor costs and increase cash flow. Quality control systems are also shared with you at Shroom University, and you will be provided with several financial and cost management spreadsheets.
Support Our Franchise Service Representatives are a direct link to our franchisees through frequent on-site visits. In addition to their primary function of providing experience and knowledgeable feedback and guidance, they also ensure that our standards of product, quality, cleanliness and customer service are consistently met. We offer *ongoing training and support *operational procedures manual *equipment purchasing support *bulk purchasing benefits *accounting support *food cost analysis system *store level administration forms *guidance and support services *advertising and promotion services Members of our operations team will visit your store(s) to ensure that our standards and practices are being upheld.
