Netspace was formed in 1996 to help small and mid-size businesses integrate their traditional business with the Internet and world-wide web. Understanding that 55-75% of all Internet-generated business is the result of a search engine "keyword" query, Netspace began focusing its attention on finding the secret to obtaining the best placement on those search engines. In September of 2000, Netspace completed and began testing its most technologically advanced product to date. After spending considerable time studying why some websites always appear at the top on Internet search engines, while others are rarely seen, Netspace introduced an automated, software-driven program to assure its clients top page listings consistently. The results were astounding, with some companies finding themselves in the #1 positions on major search engines, and all placing within the top 20 for many of their related keywords, often resulting in increased online business of 10-20 times for the client. In January of 2001, Netspace officially launched their product, called Ngenware , through its local franchised offices.
