| Experience | We are seeking dedicated and motivated owner/operators who intend on being active in the day-to-day operation of their centre. Unlike most other franchises, we do not require candidates with specific entrepreneurial experience or industry qualifications. Based on a proven formula for success, we specialize in assisting new franchise owners achieve what many others already have. | While not required, a passion for fitness and basketball is a huge plus! Owning a fitness club is a tremendous opportunity to build a business doing something you love. To get started, franchise candidates, either individually or cumulatively amongst a group of investors, should have a minimum of $150,000 in liquid capital and $300,000 in net worth. This gives a new franchisee the base financials to attempt to obtain necessary bank financing to be properly capitalized to launch a PickUp USA. |

| Training | Much like our successful weight loss program formula, your franchise will thrive on passion, commitment, and personal attention. We will provide you with the tools to run a fulfilling and profitable business. It all starts with a valuable two-day Orientation at the Herbal Magic Corporate Office in London, Ontario. During this time you will be fully trained by our Management team and expert staff on: * Site planning/centre specifications * General business and administrative procedures * Hiring practices * Marketing and advertising ideas and strategies You will then be required to attend one week of classroom training where you'll learn everything about our products, in-store policies and procedures, and best practices. | * Comprehensive 8 day training at our headquarters in Irwindale, CA for you and your two managers |
| Support | During your grand opening week, one of our Corporate Franchise Service Representatives will be on-site to provide additional training specific to you, your centre, and your staff. In addition to the initial training, Herbal Magic provides support through all stages of your new business venture, including: * Site selection assistance * Lease negotiation assistance * Store layout blueprinting * Store leasehold and renovations assistance * Grand opening advertising support * Frequent training seminars * Monthly sales and performance analysis of your centre | PickUp USA provides comprehensive support from the day you sign your franchise agreement. * Pre-Open Support * Grand Opening Support * Ongoing Support o Assistance with site-selection, club layout, design & construction o Comprehensive 8 day training o On-site guidance for 5 days from our corporate team o Support with marketing, sales and operations o Continuous, on-site, telephone and email support will be with you during your entire journey o Your success is our success! |
