We look for people who are motivated, optimistic, and who have some general business experience. Some background in customer service or sales would also be helpful for building relationships with customers in your territory. We also prefer franchise owners who will be directly involved in the operations and growth of their Onsite Recon franchises. We expect that franchisees have the right amount of capital to invest in the business. | |

| Training | Our initial training program is tailored to the needs of the individual. You do not require prior automotive experience to own an Active Green + Ross Tire & Automotive Centre store. If you make a commitment to your business and have drive along with desire, you will be successful. Our initial training will provide you with the necessary knowledge and experience to serve your customers and operate your shop to our standards. From time to time throughout the year, we will provide you with courses that are necessary to keep abreast of the latest changes in technology. From time to time you may be offered courses on other topics such as proper telephone management, personnel management, record keeping, financial analysis, etc. | We will provide you with up to 20 days of pre-opening, corporate-based training to you as the franchise owner and one other individual you designate. We will also provide you with up to four days of on-site training within 60 days of commencement of operations, to assist with marketing, sales strategies, providing services, and more, to ensure that you are up and running, and following our prescribed standards of operation. |
| Support | Active Tire & Auto Centre Inc. provides you with an area manager who is our field representative. Their responsibility is to assist you and to be available as required, offering administrative, operational and technical support. Our Head Office group works as a tight team to provide assistance to all franchisee's with any concerns that arise. Equipment requirements and costs, advertising assistance, marketing, business knowledge, employee recruiting, accounting and financial advice are just a few of the area's that we get involved in with our Franchisee's. | You will have access to all Onsite Recon's exclusive trademarks, equipment, products and procedures. We'll also present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your franchise business properly on a day-to-day basis. |
